Chrome Extension

Read&Write for Google Chrome is an extension available to all staff and students in the TDSB that can be used at school and home.  It is a toolbar that contains assistive technology tools designed to benefit all students and enable greater independence with reading, writing and research tasks.  Read&Write supports reading fluency, comprehension, written output and organization across different virtual platforms when using web pages or through Google Workspace apps (e.g. Google Docs, Google Slides, etc).

Read&Write is available in English and French.

⚠ Technical Tip ⚠
To use Read&Write for Google Chrome at home or on a personal device you must be signed into your TDSB Chrome account.
If the purple puzzle piece is not visible, or if you do not have all the tools available, ensure that you are signed into Google Chrome using your TDSB credentials.
